R-SIMは私に頭痛を与えている!/R-SIM is giving me a headache!

前回はSBのiPhoneでR-SIM(V11)を使用してMineoを使うことになった話を伝えていました。最初は特に問題なく使っていましたが数週間後トラブルが発生しました。

私は今転職を考えて色いるな面接・受験を受けています。この間一つの受験の時一旦スマホを飛行機モードにしました。受験後飛行機モードを解除したところDocomoネットワークに繋がらなくて”No Service"のままになりました。何回もデバイスを再起動してみても同じ状態でした。

mineoに切り替えまえYMobileを同じR-SIM/iPhoneで使っていまして、一度同じく”No Service”になったところR-SIMメニューからiphoneのアクティベーションを解除してまたアクティベーションの画面で緊急通話機能を立ち上げて"112"をダイアルしました。それでR-SIMからメッセージが出てくるので、そのメッセージを”Accept”・再起動するとiphoneをアクティベートされてネットワークにも連携させました。

YMobileで上記の経験があったため、今回も同じ手順を行い、トラブルを解決しました。でもだんだんネットワークとの接続がなくなるタイミングが多くなってしまい、数回"112"ダイアルをやらないと解決できない状況になりました。"112"ダイアルで再起動も必要なので、数回やるのはけっこ大変なことです。

スマホのトラブルかどうかもその辺でわからなかったため、友達のSoftbank用SIMを一週間ぐらい使ってみましたが、全然問題がなくて、R-SIMのトラブルであることを理解できました。

新しいスマホを買わずに持っているiphoneを使いますという方向でしたが上記ようなトラブルで一貫性を失ったため携帯を買うことになりました。今までブランド用のスマホしかかったことがないですが今回はスペックがある安いスマホを試すことになりました。それで中国型の「Elephone P8 Mini」を買いました。まだスマホを発送中ですが貰った際に改めてmineoの使用状況についてこちらに記載します。

In my previous post, I have mentioned how I end up using Softbank Iphone with R-SIM(V11) and Mineo. At first there was no problem with that setup but after few weeks, it started me giving trouble.

Since I am looking for a change in my job, I am having tests and Interviews these days. Once there was a online test and I put my phone in 'Air plane' mode to no disturbances. Once I finished the test and turned back the phone to normal reception position, for my great surprise it said 'No Service'.

Fortunately, before I change in to Mineo, just once I had the same situation with same iphone, R-SIM and YMobile setup. At that time, I cancelled iphone activation through R-SIM menu and restarted the phone. At the activation screen(Which won't activate normally) went to emergency dial pad and dialed 112. once you dialed 112, R-SIM will activate the iphone and sends a message for you to accept. Accept that message and restart the phone, voila I was back in the business.

As this happened to me once again, I did the above procedure and got out of the trouble. But later I noticed that quite frequently I am facing the 'No Service' problem and it takes several 112 dials and restarts to resolve the problem. And not it's some time more than 10 times. This is unbearable.

Since I do not know whether it is R-SIM or the phone that gives me trouble, I tried a Softbank SIM which I got from a friend and used it for about a week and there was not trouble what so ever. So I assume that the R-SIM has the problem. May not all R-SIMs but mine is defected. Who knows.

However, my original plan was not to buy a new phone but instead use the old iphone with R-SIM. But with all these trouble I am facing, drives me to a position to buy a new phone. Until now I used to buy these branded phones and they also given me plenty of trouble. So I thought to go for a cheap but with good spec. phone instead of branded ones. I can buy several of those phones for the price of a branded one.

I searched and end up with "Elephone P8 Mini" which will be suitable for my needs. The phone is still on its way in delivery and once I get it, I will let you guys know how it is going to work with Mineo.
