Amazon JP often sells goods that do not confirm japanes technical standards compliance. Please be careful.
According to Japanese law, even if there is no technical compliance mark on mobile phones, it can be used if it is 90 days or less.
So there is no problem for travelers to use in less than 90 days.

As you see, you can insert only "nano SIM" to G3226, not "micro SIM".
<Attention>
If you want to use G3226 in Japan, please check following link.

According to the following information on Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra Dual G3226 by Stephen Chadfield, you can use mineo D-plan(docomo-plan) nano SIM for it.

I do not know whether he is mentioning on single-type(data only) or dual-type(phone + data).

I want to expand on one of the other comments above. I was able to successfully use this with Mineo's NTT Docomo SIM but I had to perform a factory reset and select Japanese as the language. Before doing this it would not connect to LTE and work with mobile data - even if the APN settings were correct. I could then add English as an additional language and make it the default."
