Flat-rate calling recommendation
I'd like advice for my brother's cellphone contract.
He is currently using a Galapagos mobile phone, with a flat-rate calling with a Docomo.
He has a small income and is very stingy.
Recently, there are flat-rate calling plans available with low-cost SIMs, such as mineo. However, IP phones are not allowed.
I am wondering if it is possible to change this to a smartphone.
Cheaper is better, of course, but it is better to be able to communicate with the internet in a reasonable way as well. Less than 3000 yen a month is good.
He has very little IT knowledge. I doubt if he can set it up himself. So then I may go to his home and help him to set it up.
Mineo's MySoku Standard + flat-rate calling costs 2,200 yen/month.
POVO + flat call rate is 1650 yen/month, but data rating is slow.
Do you have any other recommendations?
And I don't need advice that he can't do it!

And lives in very countryside. That's why I think ”docomo" is a good choice.

It is attractive plan.
And it's easy to be supported by UQ or Ymobile physical store, I think.
And I think it's hard to change the electricity contract because of their character (^^;
